Our vertical wind tunnel SkyVenture Montréal is the 16th SkyVenture brand recirculatory vertical wind tunnel in the world. There are other wind tunnels in the United States of America, in Europe and Asia. SkyVenture's wind tunnels around the world are known for the unique technologie and their security.
The team behind SkyVenture Montreal wanted to be able to provide a vertical wind tunnel that beginners as well as experienced skydivers could use. The flight chamber needed to be of a good size and also have all the power. The tunnel has a 14 foot diameter flight chamber and is able to generate a 350 km per hour wall-to-wall air flow. The size of our flight chamber permits up to eight experienced flyers to exercise simultaneously while beginners can learn the rudiments of flying, alone with their instructor.
