COVID-19 Sanitary measures

To make sure all our flyers come in to enjoy our incredible experience in a safe, clean and hygienic environment here is what you can expect when you come on site:

  • All of our team have been trained on our new COVID-19 procedures so we can keep our flyers and each other healthy and safe
  • Hand Sanitizing stations positioned at entry, as well as various points throughout the experience
  • All staff and flyers are asked screening questions daily on arrival
  • Contactless payment options
  • Lower staffing numbers and smaller group sizes
  • Markers that help people to maintain social distance
  • Protective screens between staff and customers
  • Staff to wear PPE at all times; and full face helmets in the flight chamber.
  • All check-in screens, credit/debit machines, counters and anything requiring contact will be sanitized after each use
  • High contact surfaces including bathrooms and observation areas sanitized regularly
  • Classroooms are disinfected after each group
  • Flyers will be issued with freshly laundered and fully sanitized flight gear and safety equipment
  • After flights, gear is put directly into a designated hamper, ready to be safely taken away for another round of sanitization

To join us in keeping us all safe, we do have some requirements that you will need to follow in order to take part in our activity. Below, you will find 3 sections separated by flyer types.

MEASURES SPECIFIC FOR A FIRST EXPERIENCE

Contact us to make a reservation + additional guests - We know that half the fun is sharing cool moments with others but please note that at this time, so we can maintain capacity requirements and keep our flyers and staff safe, we are only accepting one accompanying guest for flyers who are taking part in our activity by themselves. If you have booked for a group of 2 or more people, we kindly ask that you do not invite anyone to watch. Of course for little daredevils, we can make an exception for flyers who are under 18 who will want to be accompanied by both parents or guardians. We do require that you inform us by phone or email, if you plan to invite a guest to watch you fly. If you have a special request, please give us a call so we can discuss what may be possible. Please note that if building capacity is reached and physical distancing is compromised, we will be required to refuse accompanying guests.

...And in order to share your experience with others, you can always leave with a souvenir video and photos!

Self assessment - On the morning of your reservation, we invite you to take a self assessment test here: https://ca.thrive.health/covid19/en. If you are at risk or show any signs of COVID-19 symptoms prior to your booking, please give us a call so we can reschedule you at a later date. We will also ask you some basic screening and contact tracing questions on arrival to our facility.

Superheroes wear masks at SkyVenture - We request that all visitors to our facility bring a non-medical face covering to wear at all times in our facility as per the public health standards. We will provide you with wind tunnel friendly flight gear when it’s time to fly.

Please be on time for your reservation - If you arrive early we request that you please wait outside the facility until it is your time to check in. In order to ensure social distancing and capacity requirements if you arrive late we may not be able to accommodate you.

Please come dressed ready to fly - We will provide all the necessary flight suits and safety gear but we request you wear comfortable and casual clothing that includes lace up running shoes, socks, sports pants or shorts and a t-shirt. We have a limited number of lockers available for personal items such as phones, ID etc. during your flight.

Hand wash and sanitize frequently - We welcome you to use the available hand sanitizing stations upon entry and during your experience. We also have washrooms available on site for frequent hand washing.

We want all our flyers to feel safe and enjoy their flight experience - If you do not feel comfortable flying under these conditions, we will extend your flight pass for an additional twelve months so you can plan to use it at a time where there will be less measures in place. In this case, simply give us a call with your flight pass in hand.
